Ancient Roots

The village has a history that stretches far back in time, very far indeed! Profound archaeological discoveries from the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and the Migration Period have been made here. Excavations reveal that there has been continuous settlement in this area for over 2000 years. Based on these findings, a reconstructed village open to the public in the summer, known as the ancient village “Landa,” has been established. Here, you’ll find a Bronze Age house and a feast hall from the Migration Period, among other historical structures.
